  1. Dearest Joann,

That was so beautiful! I listened to Dr. Amanda's speech from beginning to end and I cried along with her. You must be gleaming with pride! I can't imagine how you must have felt watching and listening to her deliver that powerful speech. Congratulations to Amanda and to you, for being such a wonderful and supportive mother! And thank you for sharing the link so that we could all share in your happiness. God bless you all! xo

  2. Ahh wasn't that sweet and hopeful. She's so young and a new doctor, ready to take on the world. Congrats to Amanda and to you for having such a great daughter.

  3. Oh, Joann, what a fantastic speech Amanda gave and how proud you must be in what she has already accomplished!! What an honor to be the class president also!! You have done a great job in raising her, a difficult job with twists and turns, and I am sure she has learned through your dedication. A new chapter is ahead and I know it is an exciting one for both of you. How great that the ceremony fell on Mother's Day weekend and that your own mother could attend!!! Love and hugs, Sherry xoxo

  4. Joann,

How proud you must be!!:) I am so happy for you and your daughter. What an accomplishment!

I hope this finds you and your significant other doing well. I hope he is feeling better and the cause identified and treated. We remember you all in our prayers.

The semester is finally over, just a few more meetings to go before we leave for Colorado for two and a half months. This process of becoming somewhat "fulltime" RVers is long and tedious, but we are almost there! We have two climate controlled storage units, have decluttered and boxed up everything, had baby grand piano and grandfather clock successfully professionally moved. Our regular movers come Memorial Day weekend.

Hope the fires are close to being put out. So scary and too close... Why does this seem to happen every summer???
