Taking some of the backroads of New England is an experience in and of itself. Near Barnard, VT, we came across a road block where a couple of farmers were in the road stopping traffic....as we got closer, we were able to see what had happened. These four little calves had 'escaped' and the farmers were rounding them up and getting them back on the 'right' side of the road with their mothers......ahhhhhh New England!
