All aboard!!

I LOVE trains....I've never been on a long train trip but I've wanted to go.  I've read blogs about train travel and it just sounds so interesting to me.  When my daughters were little, they LOVED to watch Dr. Quinn.  Dr. Quinn would oftentimes take the train across the country---how wildly romantic that all sounded to me! So, when I knew we were coming to New England, I looked into every train I could find and this was one of them, so we boarded the Silver Cascade in Conway, NH, just a short drive from Jackson, NH, for a 2 1/2 hr trip- there were longer trips available but with only 2 days in New Hampshire, we wanted to see other things as well...............I LOVED it!

Now, you may look at this and say...."there's nothing but OLD people on this train!" Well, this is what people do when they retire! I've been teaching most of my lifetime and in the FALL, I work.....it's the beginning of a school year, not a time for travel in New England.....it's new to me, too! But we had FUN!!
