Burlington, Vermont & visiting Country Curtains

So, I'm just finishing up our visit to Burlington, but I didn't want to leave out a little surprise that we found while we were up there. I've been a BIG FAN of Country Curtains for YEARS, but I had no idea they were in Burlington.....in fact, we were just driving around exploring when I saw the structure....."That's Country Curtains!" I yelled out!
"Do you want me to turn around?"
     "OK!"
It is SO MUCH BETTER than the catalog ever can be---I got to touch all the fabrics and I took pictures of things I really, really loved so I could earmark them when we got home.....so fun!

Added Bonus: Country Curtains!!

Loved these 'hooked rug-look' pillows....

Black and Cream buffalo check is one of my all-time favorite things....

Loved the lab in the canoe picture.....pretty darn cute!

Plaid goes really well in a log home- and w/ Christmas around the corner?  Hmmmmmm.......

I SO want these---I'm Mad for Plaid!
After we finished in Country Curtains, we drove closer to the lake.  I wanted to visit a farm location known for its wool, organic gardening, and horses....it was too dark to see much, but I snapped a couple of pictures of the lake before we caught dinner and drove back to our inn.  Burlington, Vermont turned out to be quite a little find...... and shhhhhhhh, I've still got some chocolate from Lake Champlain Chocolate Factory tucked away for hubster's stocking!

Lake Champlain as it was beginning to get dark

The serenity of the evening.....

We drove back to Barnard, VT in pouring rain for most of the time----the next morning, we woke up in our lovely inn to a surprise.....stay tuned!
